I connect my TRIO MAX, the screen doesn’t turn on but says “Please wait”? Please make sure that the USB cable connect to the correct USB port on the TRIO MAX. Make sure it is connected to the port with a FILLED IN CIRCLE not the port with the POWER PLUG.
If I want TRIO MAX on my left side but my display is upside down, what should I do? If you are a Catalina user using the USB A port, please download the newest Display Link driver, but not the Display Link Manager App. If you are using a Windows laptop, please go to Display Setting and rotate your screen.
My TRIO MAX is mirroring my laptop screen, how can I change this? For Windows: Right click on your desktop while it is connected-Display Setting- Duplicate these displays-Extend these displays-Click Apply.
For Mac: Plug your monitor, Choose System Preferences- Display-Arrangement, un-check the Mirror Displays box
Does this come with the trio triple clips for the use of a third monitor? Yes, when you purchase 2 Trios, you all receive a set of clips to connect them together
Will this work with a Microsoft Surface? Yes, the unit also comes with a kickstand so you can stand it up on the tabletop.
Can this also be used as an extension for a smartphone? It only works with Android phones that support USB C DP outputs. It can either transform your phone into a chrome OS or mirror the phone display. It cannot be used to extend.
Are these touch screens? No, these are not touch screens
Are the magnets permanently attached to the laptop or are the magnets detachable so you can use the screen(s) for other laptops? The metal adhesives are on the laptop, but they can be removed. We provide 3 sets of adhesives for 3 laptops.
