Building on the success and performance of the Uni-Fi 2.0 series, Uni-Fi Reference is not merely a name, but the defining characteristic of a product that has been refined for maximum performance and style. Our new dual flared slot vent allows for lower noise and higher bass output for improved bass dynamics. The front baffle of UniFi Reference speakers not only add a stunning visual element, but help create a more detailed image in the sound profile.

In addition to the concentric midrange-tweeter driver, the Uni-Fi UFR52 features three 5.25″ aluminum cone woofers.
Through the use of aluminum, resonances that affect the linearity of common paper cones can be placed beyond the driver’s operating frequency range.
With a single-piece compound curvature aluminum cone and a large rear vented magnet.
These three 5.25″ woofers with cast chassis deliver improved linearity, greater power handling, and accurate reproduction of bass frequencies that are clean, clear and powerful.

Dual Flared Slot Port

Our newly developed slot vents utilized both internal and external flares allowing for lower noise and high bass output for improved low frequency dynamics.

New Concentric Driver

A new wide-surround tweeter enhances it’s low and high frequency extension allowing for improved blending with the midrange driver. An entirely new mid-range design features a larger diameter voice coil, new aluminum cone profile, new low-profile surround, and an all-new neodymium magnet assembly.
A newly developed single piece aluminum dished cone results in improved stiffness. Combined with an oversized magnet, large diameter voice coil, and extended pole piece, these changes result in improved accuracy and bass dynamics.
Every Uni-Fi 2.0 enclosure is engineered with thick MDF outer walls and a luxurious black ash vinyl finish. Specially located internal bracing adds stiffness and strength to the cabinet’s outer walls, reducing the cabinet vibration that causes unwanted coloration.
With separate tweeter, mid-range and bass drivers the Uni-Fi UB52 delivers clean bass without distorting vocals.
