Yes, it floats and it’s completely waterproof.

Can the speaker connect with other Ultimate Ears speakers?

Yes. BOOM 3 can connect with BOOM, BOOM 2, MEGABOOM and MEGABOOM 3 using the Party Up feature in the BOOM & MEGABOOM app. It cannot connect with BLAST or MEGABLAST.
